Today has been a lazy day, which leaves me a little bit frustrated. I had grand plans of cleaning everything from floor to ceiling, but at least I am happy that we hit 40 degrees because it is a heat wave!

Today is February finally, and it leaves me hopeful that good things are coming for us. We deserve good things to happen in our lives. Things may finally reach a point of ease. Todd will be on vacation soon and we can spend some (almost) one on one time together while Krystal and Joey are in school.

I am determined to try and look on the positive side of things this year. I have so much to be grateful for, which is evident by my photos. I have beautiful children, a great husband, pets I love and the best friends ever. Add to that a supportive family and my life looks pretty rosy.

Over Two Years

Since I have posted. I had given up on this blog because I thought the concept was silly, but I found it again after two years and I loved seeing the pictures myself. They brought back memories, so I figured I would keep up at it at the very least for myself.

Today was a normal, boring day. Same routine as always. I seem to take comfort in the fact that my life is so uninteresting. Plus I know (starting tomorrow) that things aren't going to stay boring forever. We are moving in about a month, so we have to start packing our lives up and purging many things. It is going to be a trying time for all of us.

Today, I am feeling a little low. Getting barely any sleep last night, then oversleeping half an hour this morning, has thrown off my day. I am feeling stressed about our upcoming move. I cooked eggs in the oven in a muffin mold and apparently there was soap still left after I washed the mold, so my eggs tasted like Dawn....whoops.

Today we had to go run errands. Peyton was good for almost two hours of waiting, then she lost it. When we got home, she disappeared into Joey's room. I went in to check on her and she was sleeping on Joey's bed. It was one of the cutest things I ever saw.

It snowed last night. It came down quickly. It was enough to cause a 90 minute delay. It is already gone though except for a few spots. The kids were wired today though, despite the extra time they slept in this morning.

So much joy has been brought to my life by these three faces. I often just sit back and watch them, through my camera lens, loving them and the simple joy that things bring them. A simpler, wonderful time in a life. Childhood. Day by Day.
