Today was a normal, boring day. Same routine as always. I seem to take comfort in the fact that my life is so uninteresting. Plus I know (starting tomorrow) that things aren't going to stay boring forever. We are moving in about a month, so we have to start packing our lives up and purging many things. It is going to be a trying time for all of us.

January 19, 2012

Today, I am feeling a little low. Getting barely any sleep last night, then oversleeping half an hour this morning, has thrown off my day. I am feeling stressed about our upcoming move. I cooked eggs in the oven in a muffin mold and apparently there was soap still left after I washed the mold, so my eggs tasted like Dawn....whoops.

Today we had to go run errands. Peyton was good for almost two hours of waiting, then she lost it. When we got home, she disappeared into Joey's room. I went in to check on her and she was sleeping on Joey's bed. It was one of the cutest things I ever saw.

It snowed last night. It came down quickly. It was enough to cause a 90 minute delay. It is already gone though except for a few spots. The kids were wired today though, despite the extra time they slept in this morning.

So much joy has been brought to my life by these three faces. I often just sit back and watch them, through my camera lens, loving them and the simple joy that things bring them. A simpler, wonderful time in a life. Childhood. Day by Day.
